Dear Students,
According to the information from federal Student Aid Office of the U.S. Department of Education, Medical University of Gdańsk has been removed from the HCM1 method of payment and has been returned to the advanced metod of payment. Under this new metod of payment, MUG may now draw down Title IV funds in G5.
As MUG’s application for reinstatement of its Medical Program to participate In the Direct Loan Program is under the review since June 2013, we are expecting to obtain the decission from U.S. Department of Education very soon.
However, due to the satisfactory USMLE scores in the calendar year 2012, received by our students and fulfillment of all the requirements there is no need to worry as Medical University of Gdansk’s Medical Program should become eligible to participate in the Direct Loan Program.
As soon as I receive the decision from the U.S. Department I will inform you immediately.
