The results obtained by the candidate with a high school diploma from Nigeria will be converted as follows. The results at the high (advance level) obtained on the
West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) after the end of class XII and the National Examinations Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate are treated as equivalent to the high school final exams.
Hovewer In terms of level:
- the West African Senior School Certificate issued by the WAEC (WASSCE), with a final result of A1, B2-3, C4-6 for at least 6 subjects is treated as equivalent to the high school final exams at the advance level.
- the Senior School Certificate issued by the NECO, with a final result of A1 or B2-3 for at least 6 subjects, is is treated as equivalent to the high school final exams at the advance level.
- Candidates applying for medicine must present results of Nigerian entrance examination board either:
- Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB)
- Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
The results obtained as part of the secondary school graduation confirmed with certificate WASSCE (expressed as a A1-F9 scale) are converted into points by the Faculty Admissions Committee according to the table.
