The results obtained by the candidate holding a secondary school certificate from Norway will be converted as follows..
The results obtained at Vitnemål fra den Videregående Skolen at only one level (1 or 2), are treated as a high school final exam at the standard level, while the results obtained at Vitnemål fra den Videregående Skolen at levels 1 and 2 – as a high school final exam at the advanced level. Mathematics is an exception:
- Maths S1 and Maths S2 courses together are considered as a standard level mathematics
- Maths R1 and Maths R2 courses together are considered as an advanced level mathematics
- Maths R1 course can be replaced by Maths S1 and S2 courses

    A candidate with a secondary school leaving certificate from Norway applying for admission to study in English at the time of registration is required:
    STEP I: Register on-line in the candidates database (the system will open in March, 2024): admission2024.mug.edu.pl
    STEP II: Choose the program of study
    STEP III: Submit on-line the application form with all other documents.
    - secondary school-leaving certificate Vitnemål fra den Videregående Skolen or Vitnemal for videregaende opplaering or Kompetansebevis for videregaende opplaering for conversion of grades into recruitment points.

    The results obtained as part of the secondary school graduation certificate Vitnemål fra den Videregående Skolen (expressed on the 6 to 1 scale) are converted into points by the Faculty Admissions Committee according to the table.

    1 If the exam consisted of a written and oral part, to be converted into recruitment points the arithmetic average will be taken.

    The certificate does not require recognition by the Education Superintendent in Poland.
    Recruitment points separatly for each level of each subject will be entered into the ERK system by employees of the MUG Recruitment Department.

    As concerns candidates from Norway account is taken of their English language grades shown on their high school diplomas. The lowest acceptable level is 4.
    In the event a candidate cannot evidence having obtained the minimum score in the English language as indicated above, he/she shall be obliged to submit a document confirming his/her command of the English language at the level enabling the taking up of studies (level B2),
    The CEFR B2 level must be confirmed with the following certificates: IELTS – at least 6.5 points; TOEFL iBT – at least 87 points and minimum 3.5 points for the written TWE work, TOEFL PBT – at least 510 points in the test (at least 180 points in the computer system), or any equivalent certificate.

    STEP IV: Submit the application form with all other documents to the University Admissions Office ot to the proper recruitment company.
    After the acceptance an oryginal with Apostille or consular authorisation.
    STEP V: After acceptance.

    Transfer payment for Orientation Week fee and Course fee goes to your individual account number (given at the top of your application form). Document with the condition of acceptance and deadline of payment will be present in the candidates database – application form – “Printouts”
